Korea trip last October went well. Planning for 10 days in Korea this April.

10 days in France in October.

Work is rewarding and tough.

I will likely visit austin soon. It's been over 3 years and I need to move on. It is daunting and I will either visit or not.

I put in a 14 hour work day today. Not un-common in the last 3 years, but of interest because I caught quick flashes of what people may call a "breaking point" when it comes to work. For me that was feeling tears approaching while I am butting up against a hard deadline of having to prepare for 10 days in Korea this week for work ( Read more... )

The depression is here although the govt. prefers to call it a “recession.” Which reminds me of the old one: a recession is when your friends are out of jobs, a depression is when you’re out of one. I declare my independence to enjoy life. Making cookies drinking wine sleeping exploring. I learned to enjoy life in 2002 (oddly enough, at brc. very coincidental). I look forward to more of it.
