Next week I'm moving into an apartment with Cadence. Our first place together.
For the most part I'm excited and somewhat numb to it all. It hasn't really hit me yet, not entirely.
Rarely but occasionally a bad thought surfaces and poisons everything. The excitement doesn't exist then.

I worry about one thing and suddenly it's a world of panic

Her hand was in mine and the warmth started from our fingertips meeting.

I can't wait to have a kid. A fabulous, weird, insane little person that I can hang out with and that will look up to me like I'm the best thing in the universe. Like I'm an endless source of information and truth. Like I can give them the world. Like I am the safest place to be.

I want it. 

Things are falling into place. 
I have a job. I am saving to move out with Cadence next year.
I have Cadence.

I'm just really happy right now.
