Union went on record very early this morning about this impending dictate of Walker's. We have not done such a thing before in 35 years. We NEVER comment like this, but we feel directly threatened and compelled to act in solidarity with public workers. All nine directors signed, and all three alternates. Wisconsin's new right wing Governor, Walker, is proposing to his majority-republican-in-both-houses legislature that the right of collective bargaining should be stripped from the state's public employee unions--state workers, teachers, UW hospital, etc. etc. He is allowing police and fire to be paid more.
