College-y dilemma
So I'm taking a theatre history class this semester. It's my second class of the day, in a giant block of four classes that go from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. I'm having issues understanding the class, and the professor's teaching style is just insane. I've reached the Wall in my current knitting project. That point where I can see the finish line, but I just can't make myself take that last step. Also, Run, Fat Boy, Run is the greatest movie ever. So, my school is doing Chicago as our musical this year. This week is hell week, and at the last meeting, all the different departments were basically pleading for help. I had the perfect opportunity to stay and work after my classes, cause Mum has some parent-teacher night thing or something, so she'd be right there to bring me home at 8 ( Read more... ) -

Is September over yet?
Life sucks right now. Between my sucky course load, insane amounts of homework, and my family falling apart, I'd kind of like a long, relaxing break from reality right about now. Next semester I'm only doing Monday-Wednesday-Friday classes, and I'm going back to four classes ( Read more... ) -

So, I'm home alone again this weekend, and we're out of milk. I don't drive, and the grocery store is too far away for me to walk there. So instead of putting nasty expired milk in my coffee, I melted a few teaspoons of vanilla ice cream into my cup. Awesome ( Read more... ) -
School blargh
College is kicking my ass this semester. I'm taking five classes, and going in five days a week, compared to four classes and three days last year. On top of that, I'm planning on doing crew hours in the costume shop. I decided not to try out for the musical, and will instead use my GIANT BLOCKS OF FREE TIME on Tuesdays and Thursdays to help out ( Read more... ) -
Still Knitting
So, mum's away for the weekend, and the brothers are gone. Mostly, this means I'm kept awake until ungodly hours by bored, annoying cats, and awakened at even more ungodly hours by hungry, bored cats. Also laundry. And emptying the dehumidifier every few hours. Speaking of ( Read more... ) -

Big brother moved out today. He took his door off of his room, and the cats have been wandering about in awe of this strange new place. Mum and her boyfriend spent the entire day putting in a new door. There has not been a single moment in the day that wasn't filled with insane, unwanted noise. Nrrf. Found out our next *big* NY trip may be postponed till November, and that's perfectly fine. Means I'll have more time to work on the sweaters and things, which is a happy thing.
