Which is why I just put on the movie Armageddon.  Playing "Awesome God" on repeat is strictly a last resort.

I don't think Armageddon is a bad movie, really.  But it doesn't have too much to do with the naissance of Chinese nationalism, the subject about which I am currently trying to

I spent several hours in Boston Logan airport, only to have my bloody flight cancelled.

So I suppose I shall be leaving on Sunday.

I guess this isn't too bad.  It doesn't even compare to the 24 hours in transit from Aix back to Chicago.

Is it too well-thought-out?  Definitely.

But the guy is so cool and hip and Asian, plus he's in Milan...so it's all good.

It makes me curious about his story.  Is he a fashion/art/media student from Japan, studying abroad in Italy?  How many languages does he speak?  Who taught ( Read more... )

This guy basically jet-sets around and takes pictures of all sorts of people wearing beautiful/odd/original ensembles.  He goes to lovely places like Milan and Paris and really captures the beauty of the people there through what they wear.  And his photography is excellent. 

Is the goal for the next few days, including right now.

makes me truly miss it.  I don't miss Aix, at all really.  I think Aix turned out to be too provincial, even for me.  Never did feel Aixoise, but definitely Parisienne. :)  I REALLY miss Paris.  Sometimes I just imagine what I would do there given 24 hours ( Read more... )
