Yeah, somehow I thought I would be bested. Oh, well. Just means that if I feel like channeling the'Fax for a bit, I can complain about being put in a one v. one v. one and how it's not really fair, but I don't feel like that at the moment. Besides, 'Fax might sue for IP infringement. Not that he'd win, but...

So congratulations to all, and now I'll go off to nurse my slightly wounded pride and curse my general lack of good luck.

Yeah, plus you'd have to agrue against random field distribution, and how everyone was just as likely to have to face the path you (and 8 other contestants) had to face.

Yeah. I can understand the difficulties of having an oddish number of people in a tournament, and how such things are really necessary - besides, we don't want to burn a lot of good comic book covers doing some sort of round-robin thing. It's just another defeat, that's all. And I probably should be taking a frying pan to the head right about now for getting a little down about it. After all, there's still the regular caption contests.
