I went to see the Devil Wears Prada with my female friends last night. It was OK - Meryl Streep is as good as the critics say. It was cool seeing some of the fashion world, and I would be interested to know how much of Meryl's character was based on Anna Wintour

My friend went to see that and she said she shouldn't have, 'cause she was worried now that she'd spend her entire student loan on clothes!! Well, she had quite strong shopaholic tendencies before, so... But I'd like to see it still. I'm saving my shopping nerve for London <3

It's my friend Hilary's birthday on Wednesday - we're all going for a meal in St Albans and you're invited. Also, Stu is playing at the Horn on Sunday night, which is a few mins down the road from my house - his solo stuff is amazing and I thought it might be a nice relaxing thing to go to before we get up early on Monday, if you fancy it?

Yay, not long now til I see you! :-) I'm not sure if Pete is going away now so you might not have my room to yourself I'm afraid :-( I was going to sleep in the lounge but then I realised that I'll be in everyone's way when they're getting ready for work in the morning.

Glad you got back OK. Had a nice sleep until 3.30pm and just got out of the shower...off to get tea-ed up now, big time. My room smells like a pub!
