Won $100 in poker tonight... well technically it was $80 if you take out my $20 buy-in, but I'm thrilled. I've now won the last two games I've played in, which I think is quite awesome. My team lost yesterday. Oh well. I knew it was coming, and I can handle it. I played for free this year, and considering that the league was such a blast, I'm fine.

As for the weather.... I don't mind the snow. I do mind the fact that I don't have heat in my room and my mouse is freezing cold. My fingers are numb. Just a minor inconvenience.

Work was bleh, then we resumed the Saturday Night Poker Tradition by playing in the basement of the one and only Sweet Lou. I ended up breaking even on the night - in the first game, as is customary, I went all-in with a really good hand, Rich K called, and ended up fucking me on the river. I'm pretty mad right now. Nothing important, of course, but mad. My brother bought me this poker game for my iMac and I was playing a great game. I went in with A-8 suited; someone else called with K-4 of a different suit. So of course, none of the community cards are of any help to anybody... until the river, when a 4 came up. Figures.
