So this weekend I got acquainted with the buracracy that is known as Russia--at the library. Dude, I freaking love America right now. I had to fill out a long form for every freaking book I wanted to get, which included the publisher and date of publication. So last week was pretty good. I went to two operas, both of which were better than the one we saw in St. Petersburg and I actually liked the last one because I could understand what was going on. Monday October 17, 2005Today was a good day. I’m not quite sure why. I was semi-late for school, not actually late, but I had to rush to get there, and I hate doing that. So it’s been a long two weeks!

The short of it:
My mom was here! I traveled to St. Petersburg! I met lots of relatives and third cousins.

I'm alive, barely. My mom's schedule is taking me to three guests a day and I'm not sleeping at home if I am sleeping. I'm going away on Thursday to visit relatives in Chubaksara and then right after that I'm going to St. Petersburg for a week with the study group. Expect a long update when I get a chance.
