Finally some news!
The saying that "no news is good news" certainly doesn't apply to a layoff situation. The last few months have been VERY frustrating, as I try to plan the wedding, not knowing if either of us will have income after June. I would have had to apply for unemployment tomorrow ( Read more... ) -

So I realize that a LOT has happened since the last "newsish" post here... for one thing, I'm not in Cali anymore.
I was offered a job in Ferndale, and accepted it. My brother-in-law works with the site supervisor's husband, and told her that he knew an English teacher... so I got an interview, and was hired, starting at the end of January. I ( Read more... ) -

I exist
Let's see if I can resurrect this journal.
I exist. I teach. I do martial arts. I am currently fighting back pain. I miss all of my friends. I am getting married in four months.
That is the baseline for this journal now. Let us see how things develop. -

Moving.... ?
It occurs to me that I really have no clue how to move. How to plan, pack organizedly, anything. The one time I've actually moved, I was 13 and resisting it with all my might.
