I saw this email from our GPA (Greyhounds Pets of America) group in Central Texas.  I don't understand how someone can mistreat an animal like this.  And I'm amazed and awed at how resilient greyhounds are.

So in case anyone hasn't heard yet, we're moving to Dallas this summer.  I have a list of final house projects to finish before we put our house on the market in July.  There are some pros and cons to this move, as there are to all moves, but I really do hope to move back to Austin one of these days.  I've enjoyed being and Austinite so much.  This ( Read more... )

Went to the gym today.  Feel great!  Need to do that more often - my goal is to lose * at least * 10lbs by June.  Gotta keep my butt in the gym to do that. :P

Yesterday was the last day of my Interractive I writing class.  I originally took the class becasue some other people were talking it up and saying that it could be a great thing to learn and know to get into the industry.  I thought - hey, why not - I'm a publish writer and playwrite and figured I could handle interractive writing - no sweat.

So I felt really lousy when I first woke up this morning, so I went back to sleep until noon-thirty. James make breakfast, so I nibbled at that and then he said I looked bad and for me to go to sleep some more, so I tried to fight sleep for about ten minutes and then zonked out until about 4:30.
