I can't even breathe over here. As of now, it's about a 5 or 10 minute drive to the evacuation line--and it keeps moving south. And it's even worse because the fire isn't even visible at the moment, thanks to all the smoke that is now blowing in our direction.

It figures that the one thing I'm allergic to is ash. Stupid California.

Quick, before the home page says I haven't posted in a month! An outline of my life since school ended four weeks ago. Yes, an outline--I may be a dork, but it helps me organize my thoughts. Strange that someone who regularly writes for fun should have to resort to such a thing, eh?

After a brief hiccup in non-suckiness, my computer is back up and running. Cheer.

The drawback to being done with APs is the sheer amount of projects I have to do now. A newspaper for history, a poster and a translated scene for Spanish, something for chemistry, and for English I have to memorize and recite a monologue from Julius Ceasar, as well as give a presentation about General Hannibal. We started a sex ed class in PE yesterday. The first thing they did was go over all the different names for 'penis' and 'vagina' (half of which were Spanish words, interestingly or not). I was amazed that 'trouser snake' was not included, when such long shots as 'muff' and 'gash' were. Overall the class is fairly boring ( Read more... )
