it snowed during my field trip this weekend. it was cold.
and i ate a hamburger for the first time in like 6 years or so. i also bought meat today.

sometime this past weekend, anna, a young woman on campus committed suicide. they found her yesterday in her closet. i didn't know her personally, but i definitely knew who she was, and i had a lot of friends who were friends with her. my roommates also had class with her during first quarter ( Read more... )

i've spent the three days doing manual labor on a farm. every muscle in my body aches from raking, hoeing, shoveling, composting, planting, harvesting, weeding, digging, hauling etc etc. i've done a large portion of it in the rain. i got sunburn. my hands have blisters and are practically raw. and i don't get paid for any of it ( Read more... )
