So, my movie died today. It's not really dead. I've already devised a plan to revive it.

The Valentine's Day Massacree was fantastic. I had a great time watching all the incredibly talented acts on stage. I'm talking about the stand-up, of course, not the poetry. Who paid any attention to that?

I here and now declare that "SLAM" by the rap group, ONYX, should be played before every slam. Does anyone remember that song? It's one of those gems from the nineties that has still got the gusto.

Tonight I came in third place at the EssenzaSlam. This is certainly a fluke, but I feel good about it nonetheless. I also received not only my first, but my first two tens ever. Balancing full time employment, writing/producing/directing both a thirty second television spot and a three minute short film for my production class at SCC, and trying to write new stuff to read Thursdays is proving to be difficult.
