John hung pictures today. I wrote a magazine article. It's the first piece I've completed since August. The move, visiting relatives and the job search left me with little time or energy to write and getting back to it wasn't easy. My home office is set up again, and it's better than the one in my old place. Now to get to the rest of the apartment so I can concentrate on my writing again.

We're in our new place! We survived the move and there are boxes everywhere, but this is starting to feel like home. The one room that's pretty much ready is the sunroom. Yesterday, I got to play with the iPod Classic. I love its look and capacity and, unlike other people, I am loath to declare this particular flavour of iPod on the brink of extinction. We've started the move. We're leaving our twentieth-floor two-bedroom apartment and moving into a circa 1940's upper duplex next Thursday. We are taking all the small stuff ourselves, leaving only the big pieces for the movers.
