an economist on npr tonight was talking about how clinton worked really hard to reduce the deficit, only to have the next guy squander it on tax cuts and a ridiculous war. the net effect being not that the next set of candidates want to save money but that everyone realizes now that fiscal responsibility is probably not all that worthwhile. yikes ( Read more... ) -
