Good catch ups. I do need to find time to be idle occasionally. Just sitting in the sunshine in the garden even on a chilly day is a great way to chill out and relax. Of course in my house anytime I sit down these days a cat comes and sits on me and purrs and that’s rather nice too.
Wow! You exactly matched my answers on most of these. Sadly, I haven't ridden a bicycle since college. I live in an automobile culture and I just fell right in. Right now, during the pandemic, buying a bicycle is either impossible or prohibitively expensive. And I can't knit to save my life. I've tried.
Isn't it amazing what plastic surgery can do? I saw a news report a couple days ago where a man whose entire face was badly burned and his hands completely crippled from being burned got face and hand donations. The chance to recover abilities like picking up a glass and drinking from it is so simple and so profound. Truly remarkable.
I taught myself to knit off the internet early in lockdown. All I am doing is knitting squares to make a blanket and I don't worry about the occasional dropped stitch *g*
I am constantly amazed by modern, western medicine and what it can do. Face donation sounds so like science fiction, doesn't it.
Yes, I do. I actually have two. I have always cycled - to school and university and also years ago I used to cycle to South Ken from South Wimbledon. Now I use my bike in preference to my car (although maybe not in this weather *g*)
I had not come across 2048. I think you may well have introduced me to a potential source of addiction there. Thanks! (no sarcasm)

It is true that a cat is a very effective way to ensure forced idleness *g*

I've recently got addicted to 2048, years after everyone with a smartphone did. Sometimes, random pootling is a pleasure.
