I'm pretty sure our house is totally boring for Aislin's friends. Here's why:

Next week, the week before Thanksgiving, is Spirit Week at Aislin's school. Monday is crazy hair day -- I think we'll go with purple and gold since those are her school colors -- Tuesday is Pajama Day and Wednesday is school colors day. Yes, in Xavier's School for Nerds there are book reports in kindergarten. Which of course really means Mama Homework. Each month, the kindergartner has to pick a book on which she wishes to report. I had my third workshop on Wednesday. This was was in the evening - the night of the first game of the World Series -- and I still had about 30 people there! Anyway, when I got there the room was completely empty. No chairs, nothing. We got a babysitter last night for the first time since....well I can't even remember since when. Ever since Grammy moved here we have been spared the expense and effort of hiring babysitters. Call it the Gift of Kindergarten. Aislin brought home some upper respiratory bug that hit her at about Force 1, then Eilie got it at about Force 3 and now me at Force 10. I am so so very sick.
