And The Booze Shall Flow

Oct 27, 2007 00:43

Who: Luine and anyone feeling like booze. Who knows.
When: Friday Night of course. Time of half price mixed drinks.
Where: Osiscia
What: Half priced mixed drinks, a lack of a bouncer, and a side of government subversion. How could it be a more perfect night?
Warnings: Dude, the booze is half off. That is the warning.

She's putting her drinks up for half price... Long night, here comes Luine. )

In walks Remy, and as usual, he's stressed nearly beyond his limits, the creases visible between his brows. He's actually been to this place before, back in the times when he was young, stupid, and violent -- an extra emphasis on violent. It was so easy then. Sneak in, get drunk, fight a stranger, get kicked the fuck out, go home. The end.

But now he has responsibilities, big and scary. When he spots his two students, his immediate thought is to walk on over to them, and er, scold them. Scold them. What--?! What kind of thought is that?! Especially when he told many of his class to come over here in the first place -- god, he was so fired and jailed and killed if he were found out. Oh well. A necessary evil.

"Do you have to speak so loudly?" Remedios finds himself saying, hovering uncomfortably near Zell's table. "But you are right. Totally not extreme, and as long as I'm here, you sure as hell are not getting drunk."

Great, first waiting for Seifer, then Zell shouting, now his teacher? Could the night really get worse? Nida was pretty sure it couldn't.

"I don't believe they'd give us anything if we tried," Nida points out before sitting across from Zell. Not hostile of course, he doesn't get hostile. It's pointless.

Then he returns his attention to the blond, "I'm giving Seifer thirty minutes, no more. I don't trust him as it is."

"For you, it starts whenever you want," Luine smiles as she moves down the bar to handle Terry and Marc. "Are you the one I promised half price on beer as well? So much cuter in person. What can I get ya?" All smiles and charm. Because he is cute, and Luine likes cute.

Then she sees people that are OBVIOUSLY too young to be in here and sighs. "Okay, just hold that thought. My bouncer is kinda awol tonight, and so I've got to handle everything. I'll be right back!"

With that she's gone before she's even been introduced to the equally cute brother and making her way for Nida and Zell. Not to mention the new arrival of Remy. Great, better and better.

"Hey, kiddos, no one under eighteen in my establishment. I've got a reputation to uphold!"

But Terry's way too distracted by the conversation going on for Luine's words to even register for a few seconds. Nida? Seifer? Shit. Those are names he recognizes. And recognizing names means bad things. Fuuuuck, he really hadn't wanted to bring work into this ( ... )

It's been such a long week. He's confused and exhausted and, it seems, driven to drink. Maybe a quiet bar is just what he needs. Isn't that what people do? They uhhh 'drown their sorrows'? He sighs. Oh well, if this is the way it's going to be from now--

Only as soon as he pushes open the door he hears... Sees...

"W-wh-what??!"

O-oh no th-they're here why is Remy's class here--

R-Remy too? W-why are they all here w-whats going on.

Hanatarou's brain is going into emergency shut-down.
