I keep hearing strange things on the wind, and from travellers who happen to . . . get lost in my realm. Something about . . . delicious mutants?

I must admit, I am baffled, for all that comes to my mind is the image of cannibalistic orcs, and I'm sure that's not what they are referring to.

Or are they?

After a long and arduous journey, I have returned . . . to hear rumors that my son is getting married. To Boromir?! Son, is this truth?

Announcement:

It appears that my son has been fed to the mouth of madness. My hairbrush and various hair trinkets have been theived.

I will urge all denizens of Middle Earth to keep close eye on their hair care products. Legolas' desperation is beyond control.

Entirely fictional--this tale has grown in the telling.

My son Legolas has approached me with a business venture. Methinks this new place had more strange effects on him than I knew. But with no access to the treasury, even distasteful mercantile interest must be considered.

I would much prefer more vegetarian pursuits. We shall see how this progresses.
