Well, it’s time for finals. I’ve gone on two cool field trips in the last month. One was DeMoines-Minneapolis-St Paul for my design studio, and the other was to Louisville and Cincinnati for my horticulture class. We got over an inch of snow here during the course of the morning. This brought with it the first snowman, the first snowball fight (outside the Education building, of course), and the ( first random bagpiper of the season. )

I caved and posted a few pictures on LJ (since the website thing may take a while). You can get to them from my User Info page under the pictures link. I haven't taken much time to figure out the LJ scrapbook system, so they're not individually labeled.

Things have been insanely busy for the last month or so -- I actually nearly missed Halloween. [gasp!] I started putting together a web gallery of what I've been so busy doing, but I got too busy to finish. :P In the meanwhile, I'll probably catch up with everyone over Thanksgiving. This isn’t the update I had been imagining, being both later and shorter, but it’ll have to do.

I ended up dropping my second seminar in the interests of having time to do my coursework to my satisfaction and to do something other than work. ( So )

I read the first part of that last post, and I laugh and laugh. Not really, but I would if I were not so tired. Classes have started. I love all of them, but I've been consistently busy, with a sense of running a bit behind, since the first full week of class. I've settled in at school, though I can't say my schedule has settled down yet -- that will probably happen once classes start. The move went well; even better for having most of my family along for the trip.
