Buffalo Chicken Fingers

So I've made this twice and I'm fairly impressed with myself.  It's baked, not fried, so it's better for you than the probably-more-delicious fried wings ( Read more... )

No, but I think the recipe is halal, right?

Sounds good! I love making chicken tenders at home.

Two suggestions you might try in the future:
1) Panko breadcrumbs. I had chicken at Friday's that used them and it was really good--much lighter than traditional bread crumbs.
2) To up the spice factor--add hot sauce to the egg mixture before you dip the chicken. It adds an extra layer of flavor and it's tasty!

I'll give that a try. I don't know about the Panko because it's one more thing I'd have to stock, but I'll definitely put hot sauce in the egg.

I found this through Google.

My suggestion: use Frank's Red Hot. It's the most authentic Buffalo sauce, as it's the original recipe from the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY. To me it's the ONLY choice for wings or fingers
