There won't be if you can actually manage to keep it down and refrain from kill-- [/deleted]

Do you intend to thin out the population of the complex?

I hadn't planned on it.

But I'm not counting it out of the equation. [deleted]

There goes the neighborhood.

Hey! Glad you could deign to recognize me, Adonis.

You're looking especially like you want to walk away and never take that tone with me ever again today.

Of course. One should never forget the little people. I do hate such creatures that do.

Am I? I'm amused you can see me through the screen. You're magical!

Mmm...quite.

Turns of phrase never were your forte, were they, Adonis? Perhaps I should spell it out. Recently, I've been aching to break something beautiful.

I'm going to level with you. I've killed thousands of mortals. But I don't think I've enjoyed any of them quite like I might be forced to enjoy breaking through your wall, taking a good firm grip on your long golden locks, dragging your twitching form through the halls, and hammering you right through the goddamn lawn.

Clear?

Ares! Well, I'm glad to see you've already found the weaponry.

Adapt, improvise, and overcome. It just sort of gives me a warm fuzzy feeling in that spot where my heart's supposed to be.

How goes, Hebe?

Ah, its alright, mostly. I'm afraid I've gotten that flu that's going around the apartment complex, otherwise I would have come to greet you properly.

I don't want you to catch it.

Your concern sends a renewed wave of the warm and fuzzies, Hebe.

Do feel better. Don't like seeing people suffer unless I'm directly involved

Welcome Ares, my son. I'm so glad you were able to join us! Sounds like your settling in nicely; you always did have your priorities in line.

I'm also quite glad to see my children getting along. Particularly my boys. I don't remember you both being this close, but I suppose it's for the better.

[Locked: Ares]
Maybe a little brotherly competition is just what Heph needs to get his act together. You wouldn't mind lending him a few pointers, now and then would you Ares? He's doing much better at just accepting he's deformed and all that, nothing he can do about it. I am however worried about his marriage. She doesn't seem to be getting enough in the bedroom department...I mean, it's Aphrodite we're talking about, but really, there has to be something he can do. Maybe keep the lights off, or candle light. I've heard that improves things.

That's something brother's talk about, yes?

You'll be sure to let me know if you need anything while settling in, of course. Your father and I reside up in 12d. Please do stop

Thanks, Mom. Glad to hear from you. You're looking like you're adapting to mortal life rather well, yourself.

Oh, yeah. We're thick as thieves. His skull in particular.

[locked:Hera]
Oh for the love of...Mother! I don't really want to get in on Heph's love life. Can't I just stick to the charming fantasy in which he really is a eunuch?

Now I guess I'm off to vigorously scour my brain with this pot-scrubber. Guh.
[/unlocked]

Of course, mother. I'll swing by as soon as time permits.

Don't 'oh for the love of' me, boy. I love you dearly, but I'm not asking too much. I'm asking you to simply do your best to impart some wisdom on your brother. Please love, don't make me ask this again.
[/locked]

Thank you love. Again, it's wonderful to hear from you. Looking forward to your visit.

Mother, please? I mean, really? Do you think if he had a hope of benefiting from my instruction, he wouldn't have already sought me out himself?

Fine. When we have our next sit down, I'll see if I can't give him a few pointers.

And then I'll proceed to strangle myself with my own entrails.
[/unlocked]

Likewise, mother.
