Self-Segregation
I was thinking today as I sat in class surronded by my 50 some class mates, most of whom I'm sure consider themselves "normal" (translated as straight, white, non-liberal), that I almost wish I could attend college with just other trans folks. I think it was just cuz I was wishing I was already transitioning, which of course made me think about the worst possible reactions of those around me because I always expect the worst from a situation untill proven otherwise. It was just a momentary thought about a situation where I could live how I want and not be the person who sticks out in the crowd. That's all.
