My father is a big Motown fan. In particular, he loves Smokey Robinson. Every time I hear this song, I can see my Dad dancing like the Miracles or the Temptations. I have to admit, I did not come to appreciate Motown until recently. For most of my life, I tried to distance myself from things that were too much like him.
Now? Well, now I listen to it and feel the connection. My father has good taste.
