Moving sucks
I am at the point in the move where all the big stuff is moved, and there is just small boxes and random stuff. I decided to let go of an "antique" dresser I have had for years. It's great, but it was always that "where should it go?" piece, and won't fit. Plus now I don't have to try to get it to the storage unit. Just another piece of the past I ( Read more... ) -

A new book
After absolutely loving Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, I decided to pick-up Jane Slayre, which is an update of Jane Eyre with a "vampyre" twist. I really want to read Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters, but I think I missed it being in bookstores. That is by the same guy that did P&P&Z. Henna rinse on red hair?
I have hair that is red with blonde in it, from what I can tell, a bit darker red than people usually call strawberry-blonde. I have always wanted to be an auburn red, or just more red. I have never colored my hair, and don't want to do anything permanent, but I am thinking of getting a henna rinse. Anyone have any feedback on using henna? Does it ( Read more... ) -
Happy Thing!
Perfect sleeping conditions...not to hot, not too cold, fresh sheets, pillows just right...then a nice cool morning and a fresh cup of coffee...some mornings are just awesome to wake up to. :) -
Orange Julius Screwdriver
Found a recipie online to make an Orange Julius! Then figured out....add VODKA! So now I am finishing my finals and drinking a creamy, smooth, alcoholic concoction. WOO! :) -

First day of finals!!!! 2 days of finals to go!!! Of course that means frantic grading, but Friday the fat lady sings!!!! :) -
Planning for fall
While I grade an obnoxious stack of papers, I take mental breaks to plan some stuff for fall (is that strange?). I have some ideas for how I ant to change up things I did this year. I almost consider this my first year since I had all new preps. Luckily I don't consider it a new year in terms of classroom management, even though I will be ( Read more... ) -
