Headed off to a funeral today for a man who was one of my dad's best friends ever. He knew me all of my life, he was my teacher, my early years were spent playing in his house with his son while his wife and my mom (also best friends) did Mom Things. good: it's NOT infected as feared! :)
bad: pain in other part of hand is therefore unrelated issue of unknown origin :P
good: still, not infected! Happy burn cream stuff making finger feel better.

lessons: beware of tea, go to the doc anyway.
