i'm starting to get used to being a bit more of a loner. college made me a social creature- i got very used to sharing living space with people, and not really having a 'room of my own' was ok. now i've got all this quiet in my apartment- my roommate is gone visiting family in puerto rico. and it's ok. it motivates me to get out and enjoy the sun.

thanks kat.... i agree that being independent and able to appreciate it is a good thing... but it sure did feel good to have something to do this saturday night :) and as for having dinner with a bunch of genetics scholars, i learned that they like margaritas just as much as anybody else.
i kind of um.... stayed out partying with them until about 7 am on sunday.

I tried using flickr and ended up on buzznet.com, but I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing. If you ended up with a powerbook or iBook, buzznet.com works great.

I heard about some kid that stole a plane, got it in the air, landed, got it in the air again, and got pretty close to landing the second time, which got me thinking that if the internet can teach someone how to ride a motorcycle...
