Today I was going to power wash the house so I could paint tomorrow. Instead it is raining and I can't. I'm pissed because I wanted to do this yesterday and Steve put it off to today. I guess I can chill out. It's all part of being self-employed?

i've been going a little crazy lately. i'm attempting to keep it all together. someone my age should no longer be crazy.

I think I'm going to clean the house today. At least that's the plan. We'll see what happens once I get some coffee in me.

I really want to go to the lake or to the casino. I bet I stay here all day and barely move.

The house is sold! The money has been wired into our bank account and I've already paid off my over-charged credit card. I got it paid before it had been over a month so I didn't even get a fee for it. Now I get to pay off a few collections, improve my credit rating some, and take a deep breath ( Read more... )

I was a fool. I thought that if someone was willing to work and had the right skills it would be fairly easy to get a job down here. Turns out there has to be jobs available to get one. I get upset that I'm working way below my level, but I'm also far less stressed than I was. I'd keep this job forever if they paid me more than $2 above minimum ( Read more... )

A part time teller job at a local bank. The good news is that it's not too hard, it's very near my home and it's easy enough. The bad news is that it's hard to stand up all day, I don't get paid very much and I've lost the inclination to keep up with my friends. we got an offer on the house! we are going to take it. we're heading up to belton today to sign the contract :)
