Southwest Florida is a warzone
My city suffered much more damage from Cat 3 Milton than it did with Cat 4 almost Cat 5 Ian. It looks like a warzone. I can't even rent a car as all the way out well past where all the car dealers are flooded badly as did most of this area of Florida and across the state. Cat 3 Hurricane
A lot has happened this week and little of it good. Monday I took my car in as it was acting up again for the third time in a week, something about the stabili trak. Lots happened since last time
Finally got that Radiofrequency Rhizotomy on my back so no pain there anymore. Sadly I was having trouble walking very much and breathing, kept doubling over trying to catch my breath. Got screwed
Last October, after Ian hit a guy came in and was doing work all over the park repairing houses and he was doing very beautiful work. I waited until the end of March to hire him as I was sure the others had already checked his credentials. Boy was that a mistake. Horrible times
My sweet sister in law, Bobbi Jo died on January 26. It was totally avoidable if the hospital in Huntsville, Alabama had done what it was supposed to do. She'd had vomitting and they admitted her to the local hospital in Athens where they did some tests then a CT scan where they found a leaking aortic aneurysm. Still waiting to get Geronimo's ashes back from the vet. Hope it doesn't take much longer. I miss my sweet little boy, he was always a very affectionate cat. -
Lost my sweet Geronimo
Yesterday afternoon I had to take Geronimo in and have him put to sleep. He had gastrointestinal lymphoma. It was only diagnosed 20 days ago. He went down so damned fast. The last 3 days I don't think he ate at all so I couldn't justify putting it off any longer. The vet's office was so good with both of us, they were very crowded yet managed to ( Read more... ) -

Got my Covid booster last October. Sadly it is still running rampant down here thanks to that twat DeSantis. Over one fifth of the county has had the damned virus. I've avoided it so far and am still masking up and avoiding crowds.
