Little did I know, I was really missing out by not using my office. There are lots of people around, it is convenient to meet with professors and students, and nice having my things here instead of hauling them to and from my apartment. And I even got cake! I'm having second thoughts about coming home for Thanksgiving. If I did, I would only have three weeks of school after that to do term projects, study for finals, do research, write a proposal for a national conference, and whatever else comes up. Morning #4 of waking up without internet... stupid trek to the computer lab.

On the plus side, I finished watching the Family Guy Movie yesterday! Good stuff! Not coherently plot driven, but Family Guy rarely is. Lots of great references though, and it is a bit more out there than what's on tv.

My internet was down for two and a half days... that was painful. And inconvenient! I missed out on a meeting and a field trip because I only checked my email once each evening instead of every few hours. And homework almost became impossible ( Read more... )
