I was chatting with jlunar yesterday and she was saying that some people were thinking to only submit illustrations because there isn't a lot of time. Illustrations are great, but another thing you could do quickly are 4-koma (4 panel) strips. For those who may not know, they are usually gag strips that read from top to bottom.
