Title: The Thief Bride Author: Starfire AKA ToketsuPuurin Summary: A very bizzare parody that resulted from lack of sleep and strange LJ conversations. Continuity: Pfffft! Sheeyah-right. Pairing: Selina/Bruce Rating: G-PG
"You be careful. People in masks cannot be trusted."
That's actually a line from the movie, isn't it? How perfect that you have Clark saying it!
"I'm going to do him left-handed."
"It's the only way I can be satisfied. If I use my right it's over too quickly."
And you say you don't like slash. *evil grin* Sorry, couldn't resist. Those are also lines right from the original, aren't they? They didn't seem to have a double meaning there... *hits self across the face*
Setting: hmmmm. I've been seeing it as the actual setting of the Princess Bride (that is, countryside), although now and then the comic book urban look comes through. You're right, eventually you're going to have to tip your hand one way or the other. It'd be easier to leave it rural, but it could be very interesting to suddenly move it into a cityscape.
Actually I've been ripping the VAST MAJORITY of the dialogue directly from the movie. It's disturbing just how well some of the lines fit with no change. I omitted Westley's little speech about "this isn't as easy as it looks" because I just couldn't see batman saying that much.
