• Booked a flight to Sydney for 5 August (returning 14 August) - to visit Nicki, and see others I know there (cost £750 due to that being the Japan Obon holiday)

It reminds me greatly of The Westcliff where I stayed some years ago in Johannesburg - beautiful design, attention to detail, huge marble bathroom, fresh fruit, chocolate truffles...
