Ye gads, work was SO boring today. However, things improved when a coworker observed that one of the new Mountain Dew flavors was exactly the same color as glass cleaner. Y'know, everywhere else in the house, it's a rare event to get a modem speed as high as 28.8k. Here I'm getting between 40-50k. I blame my parents' poor wiring job. Well, finally got around to running a line to my room.  I'm there now :D  Unfortunately, can't use my Mini since the pops and static on the phone lines confuse the holy hell out of its modem.  I bought an external USB modem, but apparently it was built to hate Apple hardware.  Universal serial bus hardware my ass.  Anyways, planning on ordering one ( Read more... )

Well, second day, and my face is still cold. I seem to be getting more sparkling gazes, though. That may, however, have to do with me largely having my hair down since my face isn't so insulated as to leave me burning up without a hair tie :P
