IKAROS is a go!
Well, it would seem that part one of Japan's solar-sail tests are going along just fine. The IKAROS test platform successfully deployed its solar sail, and they have confirmed that the spacecraft is collecting energy from the sun.

Reading and Google
Two of my biggest beefs when it comes to journal or blog entries, come from people whom seem incapable of doing simple things. I would hope that these people know who they are, but no doubt they're just as ignorant on this subject as all others ( Read more... )
