Reading old posts has made me wonder what the hell I was doing publishing my thoughts for the world to see.

guh. bad day. it's been a week of just feeling wholly unappreciated in general...and i was just trying to grow a thicker skin about it but failing. You know you're pathetic when the only instant messages you get are "wrong numbers".

I'm having a contented moment. I have found a good job that requires hard work and helping people, my lil house is secure for a while as my landlord is off his moving after retirement kick, I'm having a very productive and relaxing weekend with some socializing thrown in and old October Project rules!

Job's still going well. Had my first normal day today after the parties. Still haven't seen Ellen for more then 2 minutes but am getting good feedback from Trish and Kate and apparently they are passing it onto Ellen which is good. Learned how to say "everything is okay" in Polish, but had to write it down. Always forget.

NICE! just found out that the museum is closed for the whole weekend due to snow. So I went from having no time to prepare for my new gig to having the whole luscious weekend to do so at my leisure.

YAY Snow!

*Whew* I got the job. I will now be a Music Coordinator and Activities Asst. at a very nearby nursing home. They're letting me get away for Christmas AND keep my trip to Europe in the spring! my head is all wrapped around this job interview that I have tomorrow. I've planned songs to play, I have important notes written down so I remember them. I have an outfit picked out. I'm trying not to get my hopes up and yet I'm pretty sure I want this job at the same time.

I think I'll be glad when this interview is over.
