Have you tried non-allopathic treatment?
seriouslly, look into acupuncture, chiropractic, and massage, if you haven't already.

Funny you should mention it...I just sent an email to a friend of mine who knows 2 acupunturists. I've toyed with massage for it, as part of PT, but had been concentrating on tried to get the actual problem healed. Since it does look like maybe that's going to happen I've started trying to think of ways to manage the chronic pain.

I'm all about trying the acupuncture, I just don't know how costly it is. Insurance may provide a slight discount but I know it's not covered.

sure sure...
chiropractic isn't just for backs, either... aligning your spine lets your body functionat its optimum level, and helps heal you more quickly.
