Happy New Year!!!
I hope this is the best year yet in everyone's lives.
I literally slept the entire day away. My hubby and I woke up this morning and decided we weren't doing anything today, so we cuddled up and took a 6 hour nap after sleeping for 12 hours. LOL! I nice restful start to the new year is hopefully a good sign. -

I feel like an alien in my own life. Tomorrow is the anniversary of my mother's passing and I feel it. I've got all these different things coming at me at once and I find myself not wanting to put it on anyone else how I'm feeling. I feel selfish if I do.

I think I recently learned a valuable lesson I think I already knew but was too naive to want to accept. There are people in this world that don't care what they do or who they hurt if it means getting what they want.

Just thought I would post here to say I think I'm fleeing Facebook for a bit I think. I thought I might try to draw some of the other friends I have with me.

Been a long time.
It's been a really long time since I have used this. Miss all the friends I made here. Plus, lately I have been feeling a bit lost and don't like the idea of airing my life on Facebook. I've been missing the simplicity of being able to talk to friends on here about silly things, dumb things and important things.

Miles at work...
So, I've been wearing a pedometer to work. It's a cheap one, but I figure it'll be somewhat accurate. There have a been a few days that I've walked over four miles, today being one of them. The other day I walked 4.77 miles and burnt over 1100 calories in an eight hour shift. Not too shabby. I hit 4.02 miles and 1000 calories today too ( Read more... )
