Much has been going on in my life lately--some of it good, some of it bad. I've lost about 40 pounds since February, but I've still got a ways to go. Holidays are still gonna suck
So Thanksgiving is quickly approaching. Our holiday was originally going to consist of just me, Patrick, Marcie, and some other woman that Marcie is friends with but someone I don't care for. Now it's going to involve some other members of Marcie's family, all of whom make me uncomfortable.

It's My Birthday. Congratulate Me.
I think birthdays died with my parents. I know that sounds really morbid, but I think it's true. Birthdays were always a big thing with my Mom. She would wake us up by singing to us, and she would call us throughout the day just to say Happy Birthday (once we were home from school, of course).
