YAY you're back!

Another awesome chapter :D The question of the cure has me thinking. Its an impossible choice for Wikus, because he so dislikes being a prawn, but its not like he can return to his old life either. So here's what I see happening: Wikus isn't sure whether he wants to be human or alien to the very end, but when Wikus finally has to make a decision and he's actually faced with the very immediate and very real possibility of going back to Earth, he's suddenly terrified. Not of being human, but of being hunted and ostracized, of being turned into a lab rat again, of being left alone. Seeing Wikus panic, Christopher realizes leaving Wikus on Earth would not be unlike punching a puppy in the face, and the decision to bring Wikus along comes naturally from there.

Thats how I envision it, but feel free to ignore me completely. In all honesty, I just want more chapters from you! I'm just happy you've started writing again :D

Watch for heavy details, it gets distracting and breaks your flow. Keep it simple :)
A good read over all, looking forward to your next.

(ps: I'm curious, were the scientists tests actually to accomplish anything? Or was it just for character development sake? I'd love to see the results of the studies somehow play a part later on.)

I really love this chapter. I like how Wikus is portrayed, and I like how Christopher's taking care of him. I also really like seeing both their views on things; it makes the story more dimensional. I can't wait for the next chapter! 8)

I second Sixelsixel, I'd like to see that the 'tests' did something to Wikus more then just mentally. The way I read it, they seemed very interested in certain things about Wikus, and they kept bringing the black prawn in... and now that he's been re-mentioned, it leads me to believe there is something more then what we, as readers, know.

Fantastic chapter, definitely worth the wait, glad to see you aren't abandoning this story. *hugs*
