So tonight I learned, via spellcheck and then dictionary.com, that "imput" is not a word.  After 22 years of schooling, I still use it (apparently).  I'm just glad it didn't end up in my resume.  That would be disastrous.

Yaaaay!  A week and a half until our (Danny, Dawn, and my) super-fun, patriotic, beer-in-the-cooler, no-we-are-not-stopping-for-anyone-to-pee roadtrip to Knoxville!!  w00t!!  I can hardly wait.  I haven't seen my parents in nine (9) months--the longest I've ever gone without the 'rents--and I think I'm finally ready to see them again.

I am painting my kitchen olive green.  My favorite food.  We're also tiling, spackling, drywalling, mudding, grouting, sanding, staining, and texturing.  It's like Cinco de Mayo everyday.  Cinco de Mayo with martinis.

Danny and I are renovating our apartment.  He is re-tiling the kitchen, painting, and installing a new stove.  w00t!  I can finally cook at my apt!  And his dad is connecting our washer and dryer, which we bought from Christina Walker months ago.  I can finally wash clothes at my apt!  Hopefully we'll be finished with everything this weekend.  ( Read more... )
