There has been a pattern of discrimination at a bar in the Castro, the Badlands, and a group of people are filing a complaint with San Francisco's Human Rights Commission. I am doing a reading in New York City at the Bowery Poetry Club,
308 Bowery, from 6 pm to 7 pm on Wednesday, May 5th. The cover is $5.
Despite the name of the venue, this is not poetry -- I'm reading my
spoken word rants, which tend to be funny. There are a couple of
other readers on the bill who are both also quite amusing.

I'm going to be visiting the east coast soon -- I'm leaving in a week. I haven't been since 1999. My plan is to fly to New York on April 22nd, do some traveling around by bus and train, and return on May 14th.
