There was a moment earlier last week when I couldn't find two matching socks to wear to work. I laughed, and told Ian that was really exemplary of where I was at that point, just near the point of breaking down -- not in an important way by any stretch of the imagination. Worst. Evening. Ever. (By which I mean, not really that bad in the grand scheme of things!)

That Legal Research paper is outta here! Turns out that when I checked it out yesterday, I was much closer to being done than I earlier realized. I worked on it for about another hour-and-a-half yesterday, and I was done before noon on Sunday. Nice! Today's truly enthralling news is that - can you believe it? - at the ripe old age of 31, today for the very first time in my life, I attempted to put my hair in two French braid pigtails! Seriously! I am actively procrastinating right now. I should be working on my final paper for my Legal Research class; it's worth 25% of my total grade. I had three weeks to work on it, and I blew off the first two.
