my grandmother passed at around 7:30 this morning. oddly enough, two years and about a week after her husband passed. she went quietly in her sleep as she had been knocked out on morphine for two hours. a painless death is the best most of us can hope for.

I no longer have any living grandparents. I won't have to do this again until my own parents

give a man a fish, and you'll feed him for a day. teach him to make a milkshake and it'll bring all the boys to the yard.
