Especially on busy streets...

I love  my people, and I love this country, but, as a pedestrian, every once in a while I just want to take a baseball bat to the headlights of all those cars parked in a line on the sidewalk, forcing me onto the street.

Am I alone in this?

They park on the sidewalk? Geh. Not on, that.

It's really not. I mean, it's not 100% their fault, as the city wasn't really built for cars and there isn't enough parking...but still, sidewalks are not for cars!

And they don't even get ticketed.

Totally understand.

Pierre Konig is annoying in many places... especially when you have a carriage.

I used to take the carriage out, when Chaya was first born...but then I decided it's just not worth it, especially dragging it on and off buses, and trying to maneuver through crowded areas, etc. Now I pretty much only ever use it when we go out for dinner Friday night and she might fall asleep halfway through.

the same with that crazy bicycle drivers who make me jump out of their way so many times... even though there is a special way for them and in addition to that plenty of space to pass me... >.>

When I used to use my bike as a mode of transportation, I was scared to ride on the streets (they didn't have bike lanes where I lived), so I would ride on the sidewalks a lot...I tried to always slow down by pedestrians and warn them I was passing, but I probably scared a few people anyway...
