This icon has never been more appropriate! (a.k.a. Useful iPhone/iPod Touch apps for Israelis)

What with the iPhone and the iPod Touch becoming available in Israel, a whole bunch of applications that are useful to Israelis have recently shown up in the app store.

I haven't used all of these, so I can't vouch for most of them, but here's an incomplete listing of apps that Israelis might find useful:

Cool! I take it all those things only work where there's wifi, kamoovan. Might you know how one installs Hebrew on one's iPod Touch? I am kinda amused by the stations available on Israel Radio Lite. You can tell what kind of person designed the application :)

Do you have OS 3.0 on your iPod Touch? If so, Hebrew should be there, just go to your settings, and add the Hebrew keyboard in the language/keyboard settings, like so:

If you don't have OS 3.0, you can upgrade for a price...it used to be $10, but I think they lowered it.

The Jerubus apps might not need internet, I'm not sure, but everything else does.

aha i'm going to start saying "kamoovan" to people who don't speak hebrew just bc it looks funny in english.
