Currently we are not expecting anything here in our area from Hurricane Earl.  At least that is what the experts are saying.  I hope they are right.

Steve and I watched 2012 (2009) with John Cusack last night.  It was okay but it wasn’t what I was expecting.  I was expecting ancient Mayan ruins and a mystical mystery quest.

A shocking event!  The 82-year-old mother of a friend of mine was attacked in her home Tuesday morning.  I hope they catch the people who did this and put them away for a long, long time!!

I talked again with my brother who is Mother’s primary caregiver.  He said he wants to wait another six months before putting her in a professional facility.  This will give us more time to do extra research.  We have agreed on the geographical area that would be best.  It helps to know where to focus the research.

I think the time has come to seriously consider moving Mother into an Assisted Living Facility.  Finding one is going to be hard.  Actually getting Mother to move into it is going to be even harder.

Out of all the stages of life, this is one I have been dreading.

Steve needed to go out of town so I rented a DVD that I knew he didn't want to watch.

Well, I won't be placing my order for a Volt just yet.  Other than not living in one of the seven regions, I don't plan to buy anything more expensive than peanut butter until I find a new job.

I have updated my "lost" file.  I have a section that is specifically for little girls who were killed by their mother's new man.  Grrr.  If I had the power, there would be a Special Place in Hell....

Sean called.  He said the time has come to take Lady to the vet for that Final Visit.

I am crying but I am dealing with it.  You can't escape the math.  Time is cruel.

We don't really know how old Lady is.  She came into our lives in November 1998.  She was an adult dog then.  She had had at least one litter of puppies.
