New homes are expensive ventures. And they take time to set up. But ours is coming along nicely. We've got almost everything done except our coffee table is still being lacquered, our pictures are being framed and we're missing a couple of lamps, vases, pictures and other little touches. Today HDB came to patch up the leak in my toilet ceiling so

Seeing the tag "wedding bells" made me smile.

Well, there's seven people in the house, and some want two packets. An even dozen just seems sensible.

wait till you see how much milk we get through every fortnight! i'll tell you. 12 one-litre packs.

That's not all that much milk. Ren and I (that's just two) usually get through three 2-litre bottles each fortnight. Yes, that's just half the milk you get through... but it's for two people!

not to be competitive, but only five of us drink milk, so it evens out a bit? oh and none of us is vegetarian so we get through a lot of meat and other proteins too :)

Oof about makeup artist. Are you using Joanne too? She's reasonably priced compared to the rest and I'm already resentful of how much it costs.

yes i'm using her but only confirm after the trial lah. if i end up looking like momok, then i don't want. i reckon i'm allowed to go to my own wedding as myself and do my own makeup worse comes to worse.

yeah i cannot believe how much everything costs. and this is with me being very very chin chye and basic and with eug actually knowing people!
