The green bottle bead is gone, given to a friend at work. She's blond and her eyes are blue but she likes wearing green. We'd spent an evening mounting beads with Argentium wire and then gave them all away. Since Ms TK's surgery (minor and elective so don't panic) I've had to stay in the house with her much of the time. The plethora of outdoor projects go undone, but are not especially missed as I've had enforced time to read and learn. I can understand how the world would essentially ignore a few quakes around the Caribbean or even a fairly big one off the coast of Central America. But the past couple of weeks there has been unusual activity in Alaska and up the West Coast which looks like it may be leading to a really big one.

They changed our IP address in the process of fixing the DSL server so our LAN is still down. Netgear site is busy tonight so I can't change router settings, not that we really need an LAN unless the kids come to visit.

Ms. TK got me some horsetails yesterday so tomorrow I've got to plant them down by the pond before they dry out.
